- Build lists of numeric and string data for scientific and financial tasks. - Index and slice time-series data for windows like last 5, first 3, or every other. - Append new readings, insert corrections, and delete invalid points with del. - Check membership with in / not in for symptom and keyword lookups. - Use len(lst) to report sample sizes.
