  • Build lists of numeric and string data for scientific and financial tasks.
  • Index and slice time-series data for windows like last 5, first 3, or every other.
  • Append new readings, insert corrections, and delete invalid points with del.
  • Check membership with in / not in for symptom and keyword lookups.
  • Use len(lst) to report sample sizes.
